Terence Degan, M.D. (pronounced dē găn')
After graduating from Jesuit High School in Carmichael and the University of San Francisco for pre-medical studies, Dr. Degan continued with medical school at Creighton in Omaha, Nebraska, finishing in 1983. Dr. Degan then entered the US Army for residency training in Family Practice at Ford Ord, California. Seven years later, he left the Army from Fort Stewart, Georgia and started private practice in Oregon. He has lived in El Dorado Hills since 1994.

In his free time, Dr. Degan enjoys playing tennis and duplicate bridge. He also kayaks and scuba dives. He has two grown children and one grandchild who live in the area.
